It is necessary for an organization to maintain a complete and updated personnel file for each employee. It serves as a documentation of employment history, records of contribution and achievement, disciplinary notices, promotions and performance development plans,” expressed Ms. Eppie C. Cabrera, Human Resource Management officer, during the Training-Workshop on Updating of 201 Files and Assessment of Process Flow of Proper Document Housekeeping Phase II at Selades Apartelle and Convention Center, Mabua, Tandag City on November 27-30, 2019.

The aforementioned workshop was attended by the Division Employees under Personnel Section, District IT Officers, Administrative Assistants and Planning officers

Schools Division Superintendent Josita B. Carmen, CESO V, emphasized in her message during the Opening Program that updating own records is one of the basic responsibilities of each employee. She added that it is high time to fast track the updating considering the number of employees in the entire division.

SDS Carmen also reiterated to ensure that all 201 files be updated in accordance with the PRIME HRM Assessment checklist and with the Electronic Human Resource Information System (EHRIS). In addition, she encouraged everyone to work hand in hand in schools and districts so that this Division will be able to upgrade the Maturity Level of Human Resource Management, its competencies, systems and practices.

The three-day convergence covered the orientation of the online system, documents to be prepared when updating the files as well as the assessment of the process flow. Ms. Cabrera stressed during the Closing Program that the Division Office will do close monitoring online and will give timely feedback on its progress.
