Gino (not his real name) caught the attention of his teachers for skipping classes. There are times when he even missed going to school for the entire week.

Mrs. Flor Senoc (Guidance Counselor of Sto. Niño National High School, San Agustin II District) was alarmed and had real reasons to be worried because Gino was a SARDO, a “Student At Risk of Dropping Out”.

I have been a junior high school teacher for 8 years in the Division of Agusan del Sur and has been given the opportunity to transfer as a Senior High Teacher in Mararag National High School, Division of Surigao del Sur.

Last school year, despite several odds, the SPLNHS' TVL-aquaculture students got a hundred percent passing rate on the NC-II Exams because of the solid teamwork, hardwork and cooperation between teachers and students.
