RE-BID ELECTRIFICATION OF UN-ENERGIZED SCHOOLS AND MODERNIZATION OF
ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS ON-GRID SCHOOLS CY 2020

The Government of the Philippines, through the Department of Education, Division of Surigao del Sur, intends to apply the sum of Twenty Four Million Three Hundred Seventy Thousand Six Hundred Eighty and 75/100 Pesos Only (Php 24,370,608.75) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for Re-Bid on Electrification of Un-energized Schools and Modernization of Electrical Systems of On-Grid Schools CY 2020. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening. Evaluation and award shall be made on a per CLUSTER BASIS.

The Dep-Ed, Division of Surigao del Sur, now invites bids for the Re-Bid on Electrification of Un-energized Schools and Modernization of Electrical Systems of On-Grid Schools CY 2020. Prospective bidders must have completed a similar contract within the last ten (10) years from the date of submission and receipt of bids with an amount of at least 50% of the ABC to be bid. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act (RA) 9184, otherwise known as the “Government Procurement Reform Act”.
A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested Bidders on August 12, 2020 to September 3, 2020 @ 8:00am to 5:00pm from the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee for the Bidding Documents in the amount of Five Thousand Pesos (5,000.00) per cluster.
The Dep-Ed, Division of Surigao del Sur, Bids and Awards Committee will hold a Pre-Bid Conference on August 20, 2020 @ 3:00 PM at which shall be open only to all interested parties.
Bid opening shall be on September 3, 2020 @ 10:00 AM at Division Office Conference Room. Bids will be opened in the presence of the Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend. Late bids shall not be accepted.
The Dep-Ed, Division of Surigao del Sur reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders.
