The Department of Education, through the Public Affairs Service- Publications Division conducted National Orientation and Workshop on the use of the Department of Education Service Marks, and Visual Identity Manual (DSMVIM), and the DepEd Manual of Styles (DMOS) last November 27-30, 2019 at Apo View Hotel, Davao City.

The three-day engagement aims to orient the participants to familiarize the contents and specific usage of the DSMVIM and DMOS, to guide them to write clear and easy-to-understand materials and documents for communication and publication purposes and enable them to gain understanding & knowledge on the application of the DepEd name, seal and logo.

The participants were Designate Regional and Division Information Officers, Supervisors, and other personnel involved in the preparation of official issuances/ communications and management of social media from Regions IX, X, XI, XII, Caraga, and Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).

The featured speakers were Ma. Therese Mercado and Dr. Milagros C. Valles, both are consultants for the DSMVIM and DMOS Manuals.

Participants were instructed to cascade this information to the division offices and schools the soonest possible time. Meanwhile, everyone was then encouraged to read DepEd Order 30 and 31, s. 2019.
